Apache Vintage Series | McManus Superboats | Crewneck Sweatshirts

During the late 90s, the official Apache trademark was forfeited and could not be used. In that stretch, Mark McManus introduced the McManus Superboat name and the embroidered logo you see on these shirts to keep building ultimate powerboats. Under that badge he built the Comanche line. These boats were meant to be the most elite builds in the Apache family, shaped with the same grit and power that made Apache what it is.

One of the first owners was Fred Keikerfer, who ran the highly praised 42' Comanche named Off Duty. Boats from this period carried the same attitude and force as the earlier Apache builds, keeping the legacy alive even while the name was sidelined.

In May of 2000, Apache Powerboats came back under McManus, and the work done during the McManus Superboat years became a key chapter in the story of the brand.

These shirts come straight from that era, real pieces tied to a short but important moment in Apache history.
